Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, from Los Angeles. The father of her Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, and Her mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix's athletic talent was apparent from the time she attended Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first trial, she was in second place in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003 Felix graduated from high school having signed a professional contract with the sports organization Adidas and then enrolled at the University of Southern California where she studied elementary school. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place at Athens Greece. She established a Junior World Record by doing 200 m in 22.18 seconds. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world in the 200-meter race. She won the title at the 2007 World Championships, by beating her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at the Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo constantly placing within the top 3 in all her competitions.
