Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is an amazing Hollywood actress and author Her talents have won her critical acclaim and recognition. She's the daughter of a Sagittarius born on December 3, 1960, in North Carolina. She's one of the three oldest children to Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. She is of English and Scottish ancestry. Moore had a difficult time as her family was constantly moving due to her dad's work. After her family relocated to Germany Moore went to Frankfurt American High School where she was first a part of productions. She made her film debut in the year 1990, with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, which was later described by her as a shambles low-budget production. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), both Robert Altman productions, were her first film. In the latter, she won several awards and the acclamation of critics. Moore was offered her first role as a lead in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to play the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was among the most popular films released during the time. She was awarded a SAG award nomination for Magnolia at the end of 1999.
