Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is an amazing Hollywood actress and author Her talents have won her critical acclaim and recognition. She's the daughter of a Sagittarius born on December 3, 1960, in North Carolina. She's one of the three oldest children to Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. She is of English and Scottish ancestry. Moore had a difficult time as her family was constantly moving due to her dad's work. After her family relocated to Germany Moore went to Frankfurt American High School where she was first a part of productions. The school she attended was Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with B.F.A. In Theater. Moore relocated to New York after graduating and began her career with off-broadway stage. In the episode The Edge of Night in 1985, Moore made her first on-screen appearance. She performed the double role of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Turns, which was her breakthrough. In 1988, she played an actor in the series and was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award. She made her film debut in the year 1990, with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, which was later described by her as a shambles low-budget production. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), both Robert Altman productions, were her first film. In the latter, she won several awards and the acclamation of critics. Moore was offered her first role as a lead in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to play the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was among the most popular films released during the time. She was awarded a SAG award nomination for Magnolia at the end of 1999. The Hours was her co-starring part in 2002. it won nine Academy Awards nominations along with Nicole Kidman. Other films she has acted in include The Forgotten 2004 Freedomland 2006. Shelter (2010), and many more. Non-Stop aired in 2014. Moore has appeared in numerous movies and television shows. Moore's most recent role as a lead actress was in the film When You Finish saving the World (2022). Her career has been established in Hollywood and is a successful children's book author. The first novel she wrote Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007, and it became a bestseller on the New York Times. It was adapted as a TV series and musical. The year 2013 saw her release the book, My Mom is an American. Moore's personal life has been revealed as she is a popular author and actress. She was married in 1984 to John Robin and in 1995 the couple divorced. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore then married in 2003 has two kids with her. Moore's career, friends and family are the most important things in her life.
